I'd choose the song with a video from the course book.
Pre-listening: look at the title and guess what is the song about?
Listening: listen
Post-listening: write the missing words. When it's YL or Starters I've got the box with words above.
Then watch the music video with subtitles and check lyrics.
After that we can sing the karaoke version in order to practise the oral skills and drilling.
