Sometimes the mixed ability groups force me to use my big -"C" creativity in planning my lesson (activities, communication tasks)
So I consider the factors in descending order: motivation, aptitude, attitude, persomality, learning style, previous exposure

As for me, the list of importance of this factors looks like this: 1. attitude, 2. motivation, 3. aptitude, 4. learning style, 5. personality, 6. previous exposure

Yes, Mixed ability groups is a challenge. However, having 30 learners in a class with so many different levels and aptitudes is not easy to deal with... The thing that helps is finding the common points among them to explore it in class in different activities.

3. "Every group is a mixed-ability group." Do you agree with this? What are the implications of this statement for teachers?

I agree completely, because every learner has his/her learning rythm and his/her own skills. Not to talk about ESO classes, where we have a wide variety of levels, I have a kid who only speaks Arabic and another which has a c1level, both in the same class.
It's a challenge.
