Thanks for posting Magda. It sounds like you are doing the right things to help your students develop their listening skills. By getting students listening to each other, to you and to published audio materials you are providing them with a great variety of listening opportunities. Sometimes students complain that listening to CD recordings is really hard - what do your students say?
See you again soon,
Pieter

1. I do similar activities like in exercise two. my students like talking and listening in small groups or pairs, they have an intersting topic - interests, hobbies, holiday... and listen to each other, then they comoare answers or retell.
Sometimes I use a video, but I have to preteach vocabulary and make a worksheet. Sometimes I download a video from Publishers web sites (including a worksheet), a real help.
Students like a live listening, they are interested in my experience, they ask questions and share their experience.
Perr listening is done very often as well in our lessons.
3. It is a question. I like using pre-recorded listening (different people speaking, different English). I am Czech I am not a native speaker and students are used to my English. Sometimes I bring a native speaker, motivating and interesting for students. Students should meet diffetrent teachers a nd different English. They will communicate with native and non-native speakers as well.
