Look again at the activities for evaluating students' progress from exercise 1. Have you ever used these activities? Did you find the activity useful? If you haven't used these activities, would you like to? Why / why not?
1 Vocabulary. I often do different vocabulary tasks to evaluate students progress, like guess the word from the meaning, or some group game, when students have to explain hidden word to one student, just describing it, without naming, it helps students to learn the vocabulary in an interesting way.
2The students' assessment of their progress. I don't use this stratagy because of the lack of the time, my students usually know about the progress from the tests, but I find it really usefull for students and teacher to analize the activities and choose the most convenient way for learning.
3. Grammar. I revise grammar with students in different ways like doing some extra worksheets or some matching games, fill in the word games, but I find makeinf quizzes with students very interesting idea and will definitely use it with my students in future.
4.The students' enjoyment of the classes is a good way to get feedback from students. It is worth doing in class, I will try it too.
5 Speaking skills. My students often make some reports and we discuss them , but I have never recorded them, and I think , may be I should do it, thoygh many students don't like watching themselves and discussing, they find it a bit emberrasing, so we'll see.



End-of-course questionnaires. Can you suggest other questions that you would include in an end-of-course questionnaire? Is there any other method that isn't mentioned here that you use to collect feedback from your students?
What did you find the most challanging? Why?
What was the most interesting, entertaining, and demotivating activity for you?
What would you like to change in the course? Add?
What did you like best of all about your teacher>? What you didn't like?

I wanted to delete my first post once submitted and I didn't know how to do it. The correct one is the second one I posted. I said I am going to use activity 3 as an end-of-course questionnaire, in the first post I wrote I had found it online....Sooooorry, well, I found it online, it is just that you were the ones suggesting it!

All my students write a letter at the end of each term, it is a good activity since they evaluate their work and also give me feedback on how the course is developing and help me evaluate myself too. They are usually very honest! Another one of the activities I use to evaluate their progress is number 3, we make quizzes to review on grammar structures, also number 5, I use videos. Students record themselves and their friends and then we watch the videos together (usually guided activities). Finally, number 6, what one kid does to remember and learn things that have been taught in class might be useful for other classmates. Sharing how students develop is always a wonderful idea.
