Yes, humankind tend to sing; but not all kids want to do it in public even when they have an excellent relationship with their teacher or their peers, they are just introverts and it’s unfair to force them. That is why the selection of the song is vital because simple, repetitive lyrics might not be appealing for more advanced students, but on the other hand, fast-delivered lyrics might be frustrating for lower-level students. Let children decide on the song and be sure that you as a teacher make them all feel comfortable and at the same time help them discover new elements of their personality.
