In my experience every group is a mixed ability group because all the students bring their own attitudes, life experiences, motivation and previous learning experiences to class. The teacher needs to know the factors into account while organizing and delivering a lesson. I guess the order of importance for the factors are: attitude,aptitude, motivation,personality, learning style, previous exposure
