PLANNING A UNIT OF WORK

Post by Ruth » Thu Oct 19, 2017 8:50 pm

1.- My stile is too similar to Deniz’s, because like her, I teach in a secundary school and I follow a program that gives me the aims I have to work with my students.

2.- VARIETY: It’s important to present different activities to the student in order to have their attention.
ORDER AND LOGIC: We have to plan the activities follow this two aspects to do students don’t feel confused and stress.
RELEVANT: Students need to feel that the knowledge they are adquired is useful in their lives, if they don`t think it’s important, we lose their attention.

3.- I plan one lesson at a time. I start with the aims, I use the coursebook only when it’s necessary, I don’t plan in great details and I start with a general idea of what will fit.

4.- He or She needs to know the students, because the most important point in the plan, it is focus in studets’ likes and deslikes, otherwise the class will be a failure.
