It´s the teacher job to decide wich word students need to learn
Students don´t have any idea what it useful for them, It´s important the teacher decides the vocabulary they need to learn, because teachers can classify it and decide in wich category the vocabulary is settle. The students can make some suggestions and we as teachers can add it. But they don´t decide
