Of course, there are benefits of providing learners with receptive grammar practice, and this should be balanced in the class. In lessons there must be tutorial of the teacher about the structure of the topic and fill in the gap exercises. But this is not enough. Teachers should give chance to produce what he or she has just learnt. In this way, students will have used it in real life.
