I especially liked the one about the weekend plans. If time allows in the programme, the small groups could invent and rehearse short commercials advertising weekend plans as if they worked for an entertaining company for tourists. They could even be recorded on video so they could watch themselves afterwards. Teenagers love being the centre of attention, so it could be a fun communicative activity.
