Hi Emilia, thanks for your lovely description of Catania. I went once but it was in August - it was so hot that I couldn't do anything energetic! But it's true, it's a really interesting and beautiful part of the world.

I'd like to propose to all of you an holiday in my city. I live in Catania (Sicily-Italy). If you come here I'll be glad to spend with you hours to the sea where we, together, can swim but also practice divinig, kitesurf or other sports or only relax on the beach. If you don't love so much sea we can go to our mountain (our volcano Etna) where we can hike through naturalistic paths and scour caves and walk up to central crater. If you love history we can walk to Catania'center and travel in time from greek invasion to romanic one to baroque and also liberty period. The best season to visit Catania is spring; it will be a good temperature and a blue sky.
