I have been living in Mexico City for more than 20 years now and I had never before listened about the Cantona Ruins in Puebla. Someone told me about them and they turned out to be awesome. It seems that these ruins were once one of the most important cities of their time, around 30 BC. You can get there taking the Highway from Mexico City to Puebla and then heading to a little town called Tlatlauquitepec, a very difficult name to pronounce, and to which locals refer to as Tlatlauqui, which is not much easier. You can also stay in a surprisingly well established hotel in Tltatlauqui.
