Sleeping habits and Sleeping tips

Post by María Jesús Déniz » Wed Nov 08, 2017 4:06 pm

Hello everyone,

I'd like to share with you some of my sleeping habits. The last thing I do before going to bed is going to the toilet in order to avoid waking up in the middle of the night to go to the loo, and set my alarm clock. I sleep an average of 6-7 hours a night and normally I sleep on my side, sometimes face up but always with my head pointing to a side so I don't have the feeling I'm sofocating.

As a person with light sleep and sometimes imsomnia I think I could tell you a couple of tips I do to try to sleep tight;
First of all is good to establish a routine. Try to go to bed everyday at the same time more or less so when the time is coming your mind will know it needs to sleep.
Secondly try to make exercise or some king of activity during the afternoon/evening that makes you feel tired at night.
Thirdly, don't eat too much before going to sleep. It will make you feel full and it would be more likely you will have to visit the toilet.

Obviously if none of these tips work you may need to drink a herbal infusion or melatonin, which is a natural hormone sold in the pharmacy that helps your brain to "switch off" to sleep.

I hope you sleep like a dog tonight :)
