Paleo Diet?

Paleo Diet is confusing to me, since it claims that lots of foods that we usually add one a daily basis should be "out" our daily intake, because they are harmful, such as eggs, wheat or even milk. And with that it only considers that you should let "in" vegetables, fruits, nuts and meats.

But, aren't we supposed to need protein from milk and eggs? Energy comes from carbohydrates, which we find in wheat and flour, how can we Paleo properly?
