Thanks for your very nuanced comment Maria, I think I have to agree with what you say - it's imposible to generalise.
Can I help with something?
But, another hand = But on the other hand, ...
the real responsible: Responsible is an adjective in English. You can say: the people who are really responsable
do a generalization = make a generalisation
Take care,

Athletes and Drugs

• Should doping in sport be legalised?
It’s a complex point. I don’t agree with people that prefer to criminalize doping in sport. I think it’s a social problem and we must find a social solution. Doping in sport shouldn’t be legalized, but it’s necessary to give good reasons. It’s very important that sportsman -and public in general- understand why it is not good idea to consume drugs. Consuming Drugs is bad for quality of life of the sportsman and for Sport in general.
• Will it ever be possible to stop athletes breaking the rules to win?
No, it’s not possible. Maybe it’s possible to propose a good ethical system so as to help athletes . But, another hand we must produce regulations to control the real responsible: the big corporations and trainers.
• Are athletes who take drugs cheats or are they victims?
Sometimes they are victims and sometimes they are cheats. It’s impossible to do a generalization in this case.
