I think the disappearance of Betty Ross seems a very strange case. It's very difficult to hypothesize about what might have happened to her. For exemple, in case she had had a lover and had decided to run away with him, she wouldn't have left the hairdryer plugged in or all her clothes in the wardrobe. In addition, the door of the house was unlocked, so we can think she did'nt go on its own initiative. Unless she had done all this deliberately, so that no one could deduce that she was abandoning her children to start a new life with a new partner. In that case, she did really well.
