1) Men and women are treated differently from the moment they are born.
I agree with this statement. The clothes, toys and plays for girls and boys are different. Also parenting approach to a daughter and a son is not the same in some ways, but I think it's OK in case the personality of kids is not suppressed.
2) Women tend to be over-accommodating.
I think this statement depends on woman personality and also this tendency can be learned from the mother's behavior.
3) Men don't like being told what to do.
In general this might be a trait of both men and women. I think it depends on every individual personality, stubbornness or just the ability to listen to a good advice from more experienced person.
4) Men and women have incompatible conversational styles.
Not true.
5) Men and women are attracted to each other because of their differences.
On a physical level I guess :-) I think that on a mental level, the main conjunction is shared values and characters.
