I think that it is not appropriate to show other people photos that you have without the premise of the owner and the people that appears in that photo. It can be an intrusion into their privacy.
I have seen some photos of mine posted on some social network. The person who posted it acted in good faith, thinking it was a public photo because it was taken during a party where there were many people. I didn´t like it hanging without my consent. I didn´t ask that person to pick it up.
