Well, after reading the article about the Mesoamerican ball game I am terrified.
I thought that the circus in Rome was the only show that finished with the death of the losers and now I realize that there are more examples of that. I am happy to live in XXI century!
On the other hand, I think bullfighting is also a dangerous sport, specially for the bull ;-). But also the bullfighter puts his live at risk and this risk is appreciate by the public. I can not understand this kind of show, surely because there are not of my culture.
