Poetry and you

Post by Laura Fernández L. » Mon May 01, 2017 6:15 pm

Yes, I liked the poem, what I liked the most is the moral that leaves at the end, in which he says how vulgar he was and how much he wished that this snake returned.
I love poetry, I think it's a very beautiful and different way to convey something. However, I do not have a favorite poet, I think that each one knows how to describe life in his own way and that makes each of them unique so it is very difficult to choose one.

I like snakes, however I think I would be afraid to not know if it is poisonous and if it could hurt me. But, if someone ever taught me to have one in my hands, I would definitely do it. Colombia is a megadiverse country, so there are many species of snakes both poisonous and non-poisonous. In Bogotá specifically, there are small snakes called "sabaneras" and they are not poisonous as far as I know.
