I believe that for the speakers of Romance languages derived from Latin, the Asian Languages, for exemple, are more difficult to learn than others. In my opinion that is why for people coming from the Latin languages, they usually can understand and learn quicker the diferent tongues which are nearer to the own tongue, or that are spoken next to their countries, because they are easier for them than those coming from a continent very farder away.
On the other hand, I think on the issue of accents it is obvious that each language has different accents depending, among others, on the fact where it is spoken, both whether it is a minority language or a more global one like English. The kind of speaking of people in a territory distinguishes sometimes local accents and even can distinguish accents of a town or city.
Regarding the issue of animals do not speak languages, there would be a lot to discuss. How can we make this statement? And if we simply do not understand how they communicate? For instance, why not some birds chants could be their own language? And if other wild animals would communicate with their specific and particular gestures and cries?
