In my opinion, I think that the first sentence ("Some languages are harder than others") is true, because in some languages is more easier to get a basic level of comprehension and speech than others. I think that romance languages (spanish, italian, french, catalan) or germanic languages like english allow you to acquire a basic level more easily than others like Japanese, German or Chinese.
I'm totally disagree too with the answer of the sentence number 8 ("People’s grammar is getting worse"). I think that it's true, because the people tends to speak a more simplified version of the language. Many words and expressions are being lost. In addition, the influence of other languages I think sometimes "contaminates" your own language.
