For me the best answer is the second one: the best way to face up to this phase in your child’s life is trying to adapt a little the familiy habits and, the most important: both, the mother and the father, have to collaborate in the child’s raising. You don’t panic if your child cries sometimes or if he/she demands to be carried. It’s normal. Perhaps you only just need to show him/her that sometimes you can and sometimes you can’t. As a mother or as a father, you have to know when your child really needs to be attended.
