Elderly people where I live

Post by Yameli Caraza » Sun Dec 16, 2018 9:31 pm

Many years ago when I was little the elderly where very respected. We used to kiss their hands in sign of respect. And listen for to the things they used to say. Nowadays, all that moral values are lost in the new generations of people. Nowadays, there are more elderly working trying to surive every day beacuse they don't have someone to help them or support them.In the second question yes I did. A couple years ago my grandamothey Maria pass away but she didn't do it fast. She went senile. So, I help my mom taking care of her, it was difficult because my grandma used to be very active she even had cows to milk. And in the last years of her life she couldn't walk so she was always mad and angry. In the last months she didn't recognize us. It was hard.
Both types of goverments should have more forms of protection for the elderly. They should have better pensions so they wouldn't have to continue working. Also, having a better help system will make a difference in their lifes.
