What are common names where you come from?
-> There's many common names in Catalonia. Normally the tendency is use short names, and the traditional ones are being less common with the pas of the time
* Is your family name common?
-> My family name is Fabregat (catalan origin) and is not quite common, but is not strange either.
* Does your family name tell you anything about your family (e.g., where you come from)?
-> I didn't have any personal experience to confirm it, but my impression is that it identifies that has a catalan origin.
* Some English names refer to trades or professions, such as Butcher or Baker. Does your name mean anything? Are there any names in your country that do?
-> i'm not aware, it results me hard to find any match
* Are any names from other countries popular in your country? Which ones?
-> typically not, but doing some search i found names like Chloe and Enzo, that you could find on top-20 common names.
* In your country when you meet someone for the first time what name do you use? How do you know when you can use their first name?
-> Usually the first name, and on a more formal scenario: name and surname.
* In your country do you ever use surnames without a title (e.g., Mrs or Mr)? When could you do this? Why would you do it?
-> Is not common, but in a formal case you could use it
* There are common pet names in English that show affection, such as honey, darling or pet. What words are used in your language?
-> Here it's open to he imagination and the combinations could be incredible. But I'm not quite original, and I use the translation of darling as 'carinyo'
