Hello everybody,
I would like to introduce my family names. My family names are Ripoll and Ruiz.
Ripoll is a Catalan family name. For many years there has been a great meeting in the village of Ripoll of all the people whose family name is Ripoll . My family used to attend that event.
Ruiz is a common Spanish family name, because my mother was born in Burgos. In fact, it is said that the "z" means “son of”. So, “Rodriguez” means “son of Rodrigo”, “Martinez” means “son of Martin” and “Ruiz” means “son of Rui”.
In Spain most of the people use the title (Mrs. and Mr.) to communicate to old people or to people that we don’t know.
