3) My family name doesn't tell anything about my family.
4) In my country there are some names that refers to professions: Zapatero, Cantero, Escudero, Herrero, Barbero...
5) No, there isn't.
6) When I meet someone for the first time I use my name. You use the surname when you introduce yourself in a interview, in the jobs or when there are two people with the same name to distinguish them.
7) You use Mr o Ms before the surname for show respect or to great personalities or imminences, doctors, counts...
8) There are pet names to show affection like: cariñito, amor, terroncito, bichito... among others.
