1. What are common names where you come from?
The most common names are María, Pilar, Lucía, for girls and José, Antonio, Jorge for boys.
2. Is your family name common?
My family name isn't common, but I know some families with the same family name in Spain.
3. Does your family name tell you anything about your family (e.g., where you come from)?
My family name doesn't represent anything about my family.
4. Some English names refer to trades or professions, such as Butcher or Baker. Does your name mean anything? Are there any names in your country that do?
It's CLAVERA. I believe it refers a person who pound nails. There are many family names refer professions as Molinero, Zapatero, Herrero..
5. Are any names from other countries popular in your country? Which ones?
I'm not sure, for example Smith, but I don't know anybody with it.
6. In your country when you meet someone for the first time, what name do you use? How do you know when you can use their first name?
I only have one name María, and I only use it.
7. In your country do you ever use surnames without a title (e.g., Mrs or Mr)? When could you do this? Why would you do it?
In a formal conversation I usally use Mr or Mrs, but in an informal conversation I don't use these particles.

Ther are many pet names, for instance, "cariño, amor,..."
