What are the common names where you come from?
Most common Mexican names; Maria Guadalupe and José.

during that time period. It deserves special mention because
it can be used for either girls and boys.

It is not a surname common in Mexico City.
3-Does your family name tell you anything about your family
(e.g Whee you come from)?
My Last Name is a surname common in the Spanish, Portuguese,
and Italian languages.
4- Some English names refer to trades or professions, such a Butcher
or Baker?
My name means Topographic name for someone who lived by a
mountain ridge or chain of hills, from an adjective derivate of Serra.
5-Are any names from other countries popular in your country? Which ones?
The most popular Hispanic names are Sofía and Santiago.
6-In your country when you meet someone for the first time, what name do you use? How do you know when you can use their first name?
I use their name in the conversation. I know when there are very close relationships. Or in a business situation, I use formal tittles unless the people
I meet tell me otherwise.
7- In your country do you ever use surnames without a title (e.g., Mrs or Mr)? When could you do this? Why would you do it?
My interpretation is that no title is being used to show that they are
friends.
8- There are common pet names in English that show affection, such as honey, darling or pet. What words are used in your language?
Some words are used in my language are Chiquito,dulzura,precios@,
ternurita, cariño.
