Hallo to everybody,
I’m Mauro and I live in San Ginesio, a small town located in the central part of Italy.
My home is made of stones and bricks, joined by cement. It has several windows and a porch that cover the main entrance.
We refurbished its in 2005, but we kept the same shape because it is in an Historical part of the town, so we was not allowed to make any change on the framework (but even if we were allowed we wouldn't have done it…..).
I and my family love to live here, even if in 2016 a big earthquake destroyed 50 % of the town, and there are still lot of people without a house. Fortunately, thanks to the 2005 refurbish, our home hadn’t big damages, but we decided to Strengthen one side (one wall) that wasn’t refurbished in the past.
Builders are to start the works next January.
