I do not consider myself an older person, I was born in 1981....but I can remember how was our life without any of the electrical equipment vocabulary of exercise 6!!!
The most useful are: mobile phone (it's the best because you can call with it, but in fact the use of it is more than call someone...you can chat, buy, read a newspaper, take pictures, listen to music,...), remote control, satellite dish, laptop computer and microwave oven.
I guess that more than 98% of the popullation have all this five electrical equipement in their home, instead of you are poor.
