1. MODERN TECHNOLOGY
Nowadays, technology is increasingly present in our lives and how we share our experiences. Any technological advance supposes, in somes cases, a limitation of our autonomy. Our consumer society confuses between the most valuable and the most valued.
Neil Postman already warned us in Technopoly (the surrender of culture to tecnology), when the relationship between information and human needs is broken. This is an unlikely world because the idea of human progress has been replaced by the idea of technological progress.
2. VOCABULARY
MOBILE PHONE: It isn´t only used to call someone, also to take pictures, chat and communicate online. Many things we did with various devices; camera, gps or computer we can do it with the mobile phone.
LAPTOP COMPUTER: It´s very useful and necessary at work and at home. Being a student or a worker, I needed the computer to fulfill my obligations.
MP3 PLAYER: The music has helped me during my tasks, in my rest and in my workouts. I would lose a lot if I didn´t have the music in my day to day.
MEMORY CARD: My academic training is stored on a hard disk. This device is very useful to keep important information safe.
DIGITAL CAMERA: The camera can reveal reality, art, sensations and innovation. It is useful to remember past moments and don´t forget loved ones.
