Related to the conversation of this matter I agree some parts of both speakers. Mobiles and virtual social networks have given the opportunity to connect and know worldwide opinions and have helped to transform the society faster than in other centuries. For instance the invention of Gütemberg press helped to transform the old world, middle age to the Renaissance, the Illustration era and till today. Internet has done the same but much more faster. In another hand, it´s true that mobile has isolated people from other people that is physically closer to you and young generations are losing the custom to have personal relationships as other generations have done before. The agora were you learn to socialize isn't already at the street in front of your home with your neighbours, the agora is worldwide connected and 24 hrs. In fact, we are in a new paradigma. Old times are dying and new ones have just born. We´ll see what happens!
