Krautter honored as Coach of the season
Both boys head coach Chris O and girls head coach Leah Krautter were honored as 3A KingCo coaches of the season for the 2011 12 season. Krautter shared the honor on the girls side with Lake wa head coach Cory Shepard.
O led the boys back to the conference event title game for the fourth straight year and Krautter rallied her team from a middling regular season finish to KingCo champions.
Sam Finfer was the lone broker from Interlake and was on the honorable mention squad along with Jacob West and Dakota Olson of Sammamish.
Bellevue landed a pair on the first team for the girls, With Katie Savard and Kate Holmes both acquiring the nod.
Cassidy McDermott and Cate Mueller of Interlake and Natsumi Naito of Sammamish were all named reliable mention and the Saints, Which are still alive in the 2A West Central District III competition, received the Team Sportsmanship Award.
