*APRIL FOOL`S DAY
December 28th is celebrated the Day of the Holy Innocents, a date that although the majority of the people take advantage to spend jokes to the others, commemorates the slaughter of hundreds of children under two years in Bethlehem by King Herodes, Who was trying to get rid of the baby Jesus.It is celebrated in Portugal, France, Mexico, India, Colombia ...

*ANZAC DAY:
Is a holiday celebrated on April 25 in Australia and New Zealand to commemorate the Battle of Gallipoli (Turkey), in which tens of thousands of ANZAC soldiers (the Armed Forces of Australia and New Zealand) and the United Kingdom lost their lives in World War I.
It is celebrated with a parade or the so-called service at dawn.

*THE GROUNDHOG DAY:
Is a folk method used by farmers in the United States and Canada to predict the end of winter, based on the behavior of the animal when it comes out of hibernation on February 2.
According to the belief, if the groundhog on leaving its burrow does not see its shadow, because it is a cloudy day, it will leave the burrow, which means the winter will end soon. If on the other hand, because it is a sunny day, the groundhog "sees its shadow" and goes back into the burrow, it means that the winter will last six more weeks. Today more than 40,000 people flock to the American city of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to see how the whelp named Phil pops up from his home after hibernation and predicts when spring will come.


*VALENTINE DAY:

*TET NGUYEN DAN:

Celebrated on the first day of the first month in Lunar Calendar, Tet’s celebration is the longest holiday which may last up to seven days (with the exception of Tet 2012 when the holiday is expected to last for 9 days!). Vietnamese New Year in 2013 will last from February 10-13, and in 2014 from January 31st to Feb 4th.
