I disagree with the 1st statement, I always do songs with my kids. Singing songs is a good way to have fun and learn.
I agree with the 2nd statement, it`s important to review the previous lessons and vocabulary.
Statement 3, I never prepare extra exercises, sometimes I ask for their help
to keep them busy.
