Unit 10: Assessment and Feedback

Hi again,...
Students have to improve their English little by little, then it is good for them a continuous assessment to know about their progress on learning and step by step get their objectives. I have to try it with my students. It's a continuous process. As a teacher I must change my lessons following their progress. At the end it's important that the final test motivates the pupils by showing them how much they have learned.

I use continuous assessment as a useful tool, of course some of them are difficult to evalute but we can do easier to check and grade. This kind of assessment give us information in class and we can see inmediatly the progress of the language, it reflect on performance during the class. C Assessment create more work for us because we need to search extra material to photocopy.

I use continuous assessment especially because it makes my grading easier, it saves me a lot of time at the end of the term.

I use continuous assessment, because it helps me to form end of course grade, it's not difficult to evaluate because most course books have end of unit and middle tests, continuous assessment, gives teacher information of how effective the course is and what problems students face while studying each topic, and teacher has opportunity to chance material to make it more effective for students.

I use continuous assesment as a useful tips to estimate teacher and student's work during the unit. Moreover, lots of coursebooks have the tests after each unit. I can easily see the progress and the weak points that I have to give more attention. But it takes time to check all tests and analyze the results. Ut's important that the final test can motivate the ss by showing them how much they have learned.
