Main aim - by the end of the lesson ss will be able to talk about past activities using Past Continuous and Sport vocabulary.
Ss will learn the grammar rules and describe their last weekends using the vocabulary.
Assessment can involve the grammar task and speaking activity. As a result I can estimate ss' progress.
I wouldn't test the new topis that lesson. Of course, the first time looks like practice with lots of mistakes. Ss shouldn't be afraid if doing them. My goul is making the cosy atmosphere for practicing.
But the next time ss know they will be tested and what they will be tested on.
