Daily schedule
She starts at 9:00 reading all the e-mails received.(WORD ORDER) She use to keep reading and answering them till 10:00.(FUNCTION WORDS) Then she carry on writing letters to the customers who are waiting for their orders to be delivered. (TENSES)
She stops at 11:30 to make a break and have a coffe in 30 minutes.(SPELLING) After the coffe she start making telephone calls till 1:30 when it is time to have lunch.(SPELLING, TENSES)
At 2:30 she make the photocopies that his boss needs for a meeting that will be tomorrow.(TENSES, VOCABULARY) She go on making copies till 4:00 that she starts to check the e-mails and correspondence. (TENSES, ORGANISATION, VOCABULARY)She keep doing this till 5:00 that she stops her job to go home.(TENSES, VOCABULARY)
The student is good at present simple tense functions, but makes s lot of grammar mistakes in verb forms. Student’s vocabulary basis is reach and spelling is okay in most cases. Probably, the student needs more form-focused written practice like repetition drills of present simple tense. Also it would be quite useful to work on organization and word order. As student’s vocabulary is wide, it’s a good idea to give some reading as a home task. Observing the texts written in “high-quality” English language will help student to get accustomed to typical English text organization and word order. It can also help the student to get rid of his or her native language word order and organization and understand if the phrase sounds English or not.
