evaluation

evaluation

1. I have used the student grammar quiz and the vocabulary box, basically. The students have fun with this type of activities, since they compete with one another and this sort of game is always motivating and challenging for them. I also use the ‘bet game’ to revise the language points we have covered in the term/unit or year. They have a great time doing this sort of activity.

2.At the end of each term, I have the students feedback on the subject. They comment on aspects like amount of homework, exams, contents, what they like and dislike of the class, what they would do improve the class or make them more motivating. Then I give them some feedback on their answers.

3. As I’ve just said, student feedback is the one I use the most. I have also used self-evaluation, tutorials, and some recycling tasks. They are effective because you and the students get to talk about their problems with the subject . They appreciate the attention you give them individually and they come up with those aspects they have more problems with and are more willing to solve them.

Sounds good Cristina, you employ a whole range of evaluation techniques, which gives you a better insight into how the students are doing. Thanks for posting!
