I disagree because music is a great teaching tool, it connets all cultures and languages.I belive songs are the best motivating resources in the classroom, regardles of the age or background of the learners.A SONG CAN FOCUS ON VOCABULARY, GRAMMAR,PRONUNCIATION, OR A PARTICULAR TOPIC.
I AGREE BECAUSE IF YOU STAR THE LESSON BY REVIEWING PREVIOUS LESSON YOUR STUDENTS WILL FEEL MORE CONFORTABLE REVIEWING THE TOPIC ENDING THE LESSON WITH A SONG OR A GAME ACTIVITY ALSO PROVIDES A CONFORTABLE SENSE OF CLOUSURE.
I AGREE BECAUSE AN "EARLY FINISHER" CAN BE A HUGE DISTRACTION IN THE CLASSROOM. IF YOU HAVE EXTRA ACTIVITIES THIS COULD BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXTEND THEIR LANGUAGE LEARNING QUIETLY WITH A PARTNER OR INDEPENDENTLY. EG. FLASH CARDS TO STUDY VOCABULARY. GAMES, PUZZLES.
