CHILDREN AS LEARNERS

1. I am disagree with the first statement, I think that songs are very suitable for all ages just depend the way we introduce them, and also that we as teachers should know the studentsĀ“needs, context and topics they are interested in. I always explain basic vocabulary using chants and songs and my students are involved with the rhytmn and sound. And the most important :They learn!
2. Is good to have a class routine but is most important to know that all groups are totally different also the same group not always have the same mood to finish or start with a song.
3. I think that is really good to have extra activities for fast finishers because they are able to do it, and if they have work we have enough time to explain to the others.
