Classroom Organization

Classroom Organization

Do you change the organisation of the class during the lesson? Explain why/why not.
I certainly do. In order for students to be somewhat interested and to keep the pace and flow of the lesson going, they need to be reactivated, so to speak, by offering different interaction patterns. This aids the teacher into building the momentum so longed for.

What are your favourite management tips?
I don't believe I have any favorite management tip. What I tend to do is just go with the flow and do whatever is appropriate at the exact given time. It is not that I have a repertoir of techniques, but I just play by instinct and sheer common sense. For instance, if a student is being disruptive while you are giving the instructions, check instructions with that student so as to insinuate that he should be paying more attention.
