Having clear rules

From my own experience working with kids, having clear rules from the very beginning is essential. It is especially effective when children participate in defining the classroom rules and deciding what the consequences will be for breaking those rules. Children can create a poster and paste it on the wall as a reminder. It is important to be consistent and not to let misbehavior go.
