Drills and chants

Most of the times I use drills and chants with first, second and third grades in primary school because it is a easy and useful so as to children get pronunciation and entonation. On the other hand, it helps with memory. I mean, they can remember easily the vocabulary. Also I use the drills as routines. In fourth, fifth and sixth grades children tend to be more independent, so they love competition or challenge and I prefer teach them with tongue twisters, spellings or unscramblers.
