Transcript: Tim is a little boy who lives in England. Every week he goes to school and sits next to his best friend, George. When school finishes he goes to the park with his dog, Sam. Sam is a beautiful dog, and Tim loves him very much. Then he goes home to study and watch television. At the weekend he likes playing football and going to the swimming pool with his Dad.
- It's good for talking about daily routines (this way you activate their internalized grammar and prepare them for the times when they are going to learn about the present simple).
- You can use it in a lesson where you put emphasis on the 3rd person singular "-s" ending.
The focus points mentioned above are not for very young learners.
- Very YL can listen and point to pictures which describe the words that they hear (e.g. school, park, dog, television, football, swim)
- They can also put in the right order pictures about the story. They have to listen to the story a few times before doing this task.
