I use contonuous assesment because it serves to reinforce or correct learned responses, and it assists in pacing learning.
Sometoimes Ss become nervous witn the tests that they can't perform and don't give a true account of their knowledge or ability, so in my opinion i think that using a combination of methods of assessment is the best way to get a real information about the process of learning in the Ss.
