It calls my attention that in these days I appreciate more and more teenagers that are spending their time in parks doing nothing useful. I would use the label: youth observers.

Definitely, Sandra. I like your point. Not long ago, I heard a kind of tech guru foreseeing different changes in our habits, and he pointed out that the new trend would be to become more human. According to him, robots and machines are literally round the bend and, sooner than expected, will step up their presence in every aspect of our lives. Basic gestures such as hanging around or reading in public might become weird in the short term if we don't try to change that. I would use another label which I feel identified myself. It is RAM, which is Rage Against the Machine, under the well-known music group. By all means, ICTs are necessary. However, we need to draw the line and discern whether we are abusing or just using them.

Those young people Sandra was talking about are ninis, people who do not study or work. they live in their parents house and waste their time.

But I prefer to call them stoppers. They do not continue enriching their lives and also stops the lives of people around them.

In Argentina, young people who do not study nor work are called "Nini". This mainly makes reference to empoverished teenagers who lack opportunities in life. It is prety sad I think.

I do not use short labels, but I used to co-live with lots of different kinds of people and most of them would fit in the "I-must-look-like-a-wealthy-fancy-person-despite-my-low-budget" kind of personality.
