I try to make controlled practice activities more communicative and motivating for my learners adapting or changing the topic of the tasks to one more interesting for them, example: the theme of Debate, I choose the theme of Debate with the topic "The use of the cell phone in class: good or bad? that´s the way I provide the students a reason to use the language, first the students write their supporting ideas using the connective words and after they carry out the debate in a real form transforming the grammar activity in communicative.
About how the Reading activities have been adapted? I consider the adaptation is correct because is done step by step, first making the topic attractive for the students, after the activity can be transformed into a game and finally when they read the sentences they are using the language in a communicative way.
