I think that it is important not to interrupt Ss when they are trying to express because that could be a wall for making them learning more. The thing that I do in class is to write the mistakes they do during their speech and make Ss reflect on them. I also make them write on the board in some activities and we go one by one checking if we find mistakes to correct them with the class. I have found this last way of correcting useful for encouraging them in the target language and it has helped Ss be aware of what they say or write.
